    10.1 Employment

    Administration

    • To approve paying Dr. Pam Noeth, Superintendent for 1 unused personal day at her per diem.

    Substitute

    Supplemental Contracts for the 2026-2027 school year

    • Abby Phillians, Co-PBIS Coordinator
    • Hope Losh, Co-PBIS Coordinator
    • Jeff Young, $12,000 for 2026-2027 for additional duties serving as the Adult Education Technical Coordinator.

    Extended Service Days for the 2026-2027 school year

    • Kathleen Wren, up to 3 days at her per diem to develop curriculum for the new Physical Science course she will be teaching

    Additional Pay

    • Michelle Rawlins, 1 hour at $35.00 per hour for a student fair project visit.
    • Angela Branam, 4 hours at her hourly rate or Free and Reduced Lunch Training.
    • To approve the additional pay to staff members for attendance at the AI Training on August 12, 2026. Signed sheets are attached.

    Supplemental Contract Correction

    • Emeline Kelly, PSS begins August 1, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2026.

    Adult Education

    • Amy Pirnstill, Enrollment and Student Success Coordinator, 1 year contract beginning September 1, 2026, pro-rated from August 1, Class 3, Step 10 on the Full-Time Non-Healthcare Certified Salary Schedule, 225-day contract. *
    • To correct the 2026-2027 contract for Jack Holliday, Program Administrator-EMS/Public Safety, one year contract beginning August 1, 2026, $35.00 per hour, 8 hours per day, 240-day contract.

    *Denotes Retired/Rehired Employee


    10.2 Interactive Media

    To approve Jerzy Drozd as a teaching artist in the Interactive Media Program for the 2026-2027 school year. He will be responsible for Graphic Storytelling Applied Throughout Media lessons and his salary in the amount of $17,500 will be paid completely through monies from the Ohio Arts Council.


    10.3 Facilities Rental Fee Waivers
    • To approve waiving the room rental fee for MCBDD to hold a Halloween Dance in the Auditorium on October 30, 2026.

    10.4 Out of State Conference Requests
    • To approve Cody Hawkins, Drone Instructor, to attend the Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, September 1-2, 2026.
    • To approve Kaylor Sines, Adult Education Director, to attend the COE 2026 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, November 10-12, 2026.

    10.5 Donations
    • To approve a donation from United Way in the amount of $5,000 for the 2027 Expect to Be Amazing Summer Camp.
    • To approve a donation in the amount of $6,000 from the Ray and Charlotte Baldauf Fund for the Drug Free, Hire Me Program.
    • To approve a donation from the WM. Kay Davis Foundation in the amount of $2,000 to be used at the discretion of the school counselors to assist students with program needs, personal needs and/or family needs of the students as deemed appropriate.

    10.6 Disposal of Items

    To approve the disposal of the attached obsolete items through auction.


    10.7 MOU with RFS Behavioral Health

    To approve an MOU with RFS to provide services for the 2026-2027 school year.


    10.8 Affiliation Agreement with Avita

    To approve an affiliation agreement with Avita Health System for Health Career Academy students.


    10.9 Certification Attainment

    To support an additional twenty percent (20%) tuition reimbursement for coursework taken in the 2026-2027 school year that leads to one of the following desired licenses and/or endorsements. It is understood that the additional reimbursement of twenty percent (20%) will be paid in a lump sum after attainment of a license in an area desired by the Board of Education. The areas currently desired are as follows:
    1.    Integrated Language Arts (15014)

    2.    Integrated Math (110994)

    3.    Integrated Science (132010)

    4.    Integrated Social Studies (150004)

    5.    Intervention Specialist

    6.    Transition to Work

    7.    Masters in Content Area


    Note: Article 1600 – Tuition Reimbursement of the TREA Negotiated Agreement states as follows: 1604 – Reimbursement shall be at a rate of sixty-five percent (65%) of the tuition (costs and non-discretionary fees). An additional twenty percent (20%) of the tuition (costs and non-discretionary fees) will be paid in a lump sum after attainment of a license in an area desired by the Board. An annual list of desired licenses will be provided to the Association President by the Board. This request will comply and meet the requirements of this Article.
